3D Printer Black Friday Deals 2026: FDM, Resin & Laser Guide

3D printer Black Friday deals 2026: what to expect
Black Friday 2026 falls on Friday, November 27, and Cyber Monday follows on Monday, November 30. For 3D printers, resin printers and desktop laser engravers, that four-day window is one of the most watched shopping periods of the year.
One thing up front: no brand has announced its Black Friday 2026 pricing yet. Everything below about discounts is based on how sales in this category have usually worked in past years, not on confirmed 2026 offers. For live offers, check each store's coupon page, linked below, as the sale gets closer.
If you are still deciding whether to wait for the sale at all, our guides on when Black Friday 2026 starts and whether Black Friday deals are actually worth it are a good place to start.
FDM vs resin vs laser engravers: which one are you shopping for?
Most "3D printing Black Friday deals" fall into three groups of machine. Know which one you want before the sale starts.
| Machine type | How it works | Best for | Ongoing costs to budget |
|---|---|---|---|
| FDM (filament) printer | Melts plastic filament and builds parts layer by layer | Functional parts, prototypes, larger prints, general hobby use | Filament spools, nozzles, build plates |
| Resin (MSLA) printer | Cures liquid resin with UV light through an LCD screen | Highly detailed miniatures, jewellery models, small precise parts | Resin, release film, gloves, isopropyl alcohol or wash fluid, wash-and-cure station |
| Laser engraver or cutter | Uses a diode, CO2 or fiber laser to engrave or cut material | Signs, custom gifts, engraved products, cutting wood, acrylic and leather | Material blanks, ventilation or fume extraction, replacement parts |
FDM printers
FDM printers are where most people start. Filament is easy to handle and store, prints don't need chemical post-processing, and parts can be fairly large. The trade-off is visible layer lines and less fine detail than resin.
Resin printers
Resin printers produce much finer surface detail, which is why tabletop gamers and miniature painters favour them. They also involve more handling: liquid resin has to be used with gloves and good ventilation, and every print needs washing and curing.
Laser engravers and cutters
Laser engravers are not 3D printers, but people shop for them alongside 3D printers during the holiday sales because they appeal to the same makers and small businesses. Diode lasers are the common entry point for engraving wood and leather. CO2 lasers are better for cutting materials like acrylic and thicker wood. Fiber lasers are aimed at marking and engraving metal. A laser needs serious attention to safety and ventilation, so treat enclosures and fume extraction as part of the purchase, not optional extras.
Stores covered in this guide
These are the 3D printing and laser brands that have coupon pages on this site. We only describe what each brand sells. For current discounts and terms, use the linked coupon page and the brand's own website.
ELEGOO
ELEGOO makes consumer and prosumer 3D printers. It is best known for its Mars and Saturn series of resin (MSLA) printers and also sells FDM filament printers such as its Neptune line. Beyond printers, ELEGOO sells the resins, filaments and wash-and-cure accessories used with them, plus a separate line of Arduino-compatible electronics starter kits for hobbyists and students.
Because ELEGOO sells both printers and consumables, you can buy a printer and its materials from the same place. When the sale arrives, check whether printer listings come with resin or filament bundled in, and compare that against buying the consumables separately.
xTool
xTool designs desktop laser cutting and engraving machines plus CNC carving tools, aimed at makers, crafters, small businesses and sign and product shops. Its lineup runs from entry-level diode laser engravers up to higher-power fiber and CO2 laser models that can cut wood, acrylic, leather and some metals.
xTool also sells companion materials (wood, acrylic and leather blanks), accessories such as rotary attachments and fume extractors, and design software for preparing engraving and cutting jobs. Bundles that include a rotary attachment or fume extractor are worth comparing carefully against the machine on its own.
AtomStack
AtomStack makes laser engraving and cutting equipment, including diode laser engravers (its A Series and related models), water-cooled lasers for continuous operation, CO2 laser cutters, fiber lasers for metal engraving, and combined dual-laser systems. It also sells CNC routers and accessories such as honeycomb work tables, rotary rollers, enclosures and air-assist kits.
AtomStack targets both hobbyists and small businesses.
What about Bambu Lab and other brands?
Bambu Lab is one of the best-known FDM printer brands, and it has run holiday promotions in past years, so many shoppers will be watching for a Bambu Lab Black Friday sale in 2026. We don't have a coupon page for Bambu Lab and can't confirm anything about its 2026 plans. Check its official store directly and apply the same deal checks below. For other brands we do cover, browse all stores or the electronics category.
What typically gets discounted during Black Friday
In past years, 3D printing and laser brands have usually put their holiday discounts on the items below. Treat this as a pattern to watch for, not a promise for 2026.
- Printers and machines themselves: older or outgoing models often see the deepest cuts, especially when a newer version has recently launched.
- Bundles: a printer packaged with filament, resin, a wash-and-cure station, an enclosure or a rotary attachment, priced lower than buying everything separately.
- Consumables in bulk: multi-packs of filament spools or resin bottles, which suit anyone who prints regularly.
- Accessories and upgrades: build plates, nozzles, release films, air-assist kits, honeycomb beds and similar add-ons.
- Spend-based offers: tiered "spend more, save more" deals or free gifts above a set order value.
- Early-access and extended windows: some brands start promotions before Black Friday and carry them through Cyber Monday or beyond.
Our general Black Friday 2026 guide covers the wider sale calendar if you are shopping across several categories.
How to judge a 3D printer deal
A big percentage badge doesn't tell you much on its own. Here is how to work out whether a deal is actually good.
Check the price history, not the "was" price
Struck-through "original" prices are sometimes list prices the machine rarely sold at. If you can, note the price a few weeks before the sale (late October and early November is a good time) so you have a real baseline to compare against.
Compare total cost of ownership
The machine is only part of the spend. For resin, add wash-and-cure equipment, resin, gloves and cleaning fluid. For FDM, add filament and spare nozzles. For lasers, add ventilation, an enclosure if needed, eye protection suited to the laser type, and materials.
Read the warranty and return terms
All three stores in this guide advise checking their official warranty and return policy before buying, and AtomStack and xTool note that terms can vary by machine model and region. Holiday orders sometimes come with different return windows, so confirm the terms on the brand's site at checkout.
Buying checklist before you check out
Run through this list before you place an order during the sale.
- Pick the machine type first: FDM for functional parts, resin for fine detail, laser for engraving and cutting.
- Measure your space: check the footprint, enclosure size and whether you have somewhere ventilated for resin or laser work.
- Check build volume or work area: make sure it fits the size of parts or materials you plan to use.
- Budget for consumables and safety gear: filament or resin, gloves, ventilation, fume extraction or eye protection as needed.
- Note the warranty and return window: read the terms on the official site for your region.
- Compare against your baseline price: use the price you noted before the sale started.
- Visit the coupon page before paying: see the latest offers on ELEGOO, xTool or AtomStack.
Frequently asked questions
When are 3D printer Black Friday deals in 2026?
Black Friday is Friday, November 27, 2026, and Cyber Monday is Monday, November 30, 2026. Some brands start promotions earlier or extend them, so check each store's page in the run-up.
Are 3D printers cheaper on Black Friday?
