UK: Cyber Monday 2026
When is Cyber Monday 2026 in the UK? Monday 30 November, a normal working day. Most UK retailers run Black Friday (27 November) and Cyber Monday as one "Cyber Week". Amazon UK, Argos, Currys, John Lewis, AO, Boots, Very, ASOS and Next usually take part.
- Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013: you can cancel most online orders within 14 days, normally counted from delivery, without giving a reason. Exceptions include personalised items and opened sealed hygiene goods.
- Consumer Rights Act 2015: goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described, whether they were on sale or not.
- Section 75: credit-card purchases between £100 and £30,000 come with extra protection from the card provider.
Canada: Cyber Monday 2026
When is Cyber Monday 2026 in Canada? Monday 30 November. Canadian Thanksgiving is in October, but retailers follow the US Black Friday and Cyber Monday calendar. Amazon.ca, Best Buy Canada, Walmart Canada, Canadian Tire, Costco Canada, Indigo and Sport Chek usually take part.
Consumer rights in Canada are set mainly by the provinces and territories, so they vary. Several provinces have specific rules for online sales, such as required disclosures and cancellation if goods arrive late, but there's no nationwide 14-day "change of mind" right. That makes the store's own return policy more important. On US sites, add duties, taxes and shipping before comparing prices.
Australia and New Zealand: Cyber Monday 2026
Cyber Monday 2026 in Australia and NZ is Monday 30 November. Local deals go live while it's still Sunday in the US. Australian retailers lean heavily into the Black Friday weekend. Click Frenzy is a separate local event on its own dates. Amazon Australia, JB Hi-Fi, The Good Guys, Harvey Norman, Myer, David Jones, Kmart and The Iconic usually take part. - Australia: the Australian Consumer Law gives automatic guarantees that goods are of acceptable quality and match their description, sale items included. It doesn't give a general change-of-mind refund right.
- New Zealand: the Consumer Guarantees Act gives similar quality guarantees, and the Fair Trading Act bans misleading pricing. Change-of-mind returns depend on the store's policy.
Ireland and South Africa: Cyber Monday 2026
Ireland shares GMT with the UK. Currys Ireland, Harvey Norman Ireland, DID Electrical, Power City, Arnotts and Brown Thomas usually take part. Since Brexit, buying from UK sites can add customs charges, so look for Irish storefronts. As an EU member, Ireland gives you the 14-day right of withdrawal on most online orders, and the Consumer Rights Act 2022 covers faulty goods.
South Africa (SAST, UTC+2) mostly treats Cyber Monday as the end of a long Black Friday weekend. Takealot, Makro, Game, Woolworths, Superbalist and Amazon.co.za usually take part. The Electronic Communications and Transactions Act gives a cooling-off period on many online purchases, and the Consumer Protection Act covers defective goods. Exclusions apply.
Germany, France and Italy: Cyber Week 2026
All three run on CET (UTC+1), with Cyber Monday on 30 November.
- Germany (Deutschland): "Cyber Week" is the common name for the online event around Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Amazon.de, MediaMarkt, Saturn, Otto, Zalando and Galaxus usually take part.
- France: retailers use "Cyber Monday" as-is. Amazon.fr, Fnac, Darty, Boulanger and Cdiscount usually take part.
- Italy (Italia): Amazon.it, MediaWorld, Unieuro and Euronics usually run Black Friday and Cyber Monday promotions.
Your EU rights include a 14-day right of withdrawal on most online orders, a minimum two-year legal guarantee on faulty goods, and the Omnibus price rule. Under that rule, an advertised price reduction generally has to use the lowest price from the previous 30 days as the reference, so inflated "was" prices are easier to spot.
